I’m in  Bosnia, in Neum
Neum is situated in the only small access Bosnia has to the sea. It is a very tiny channel, about 5km wide only.

Tomorrow re-entering Croatia for a visit of Dubrovnik, then I will definitely leave Croatia. By then, I will have pedalled more than 800 km in this country, all on the coastal route. Still great, but I need some change. Cities I particularly liked: Rijeka, Zadar,  and Sibenik. Very nice as well the Bacinka lakes near Ploce.

I had a few interesting talks  with Croatians, who told me their war experiences, how they lived the Serb bombings, seen the tanks entering Zadar. Some  lost members of their family.

So far I travelled 2000km and climbed 15000m. If I look at my first estimates, I get the sneaky feeling, that, upon arrival, the final figure will be more than 7000km!

Today was not my best day. I had a bad start, was very tired, needed a lot of breaks. Then the big heat again: up to 43 degrees. I was so tired, that I stopped, lay down beside my bicycle and had a sleep, just next to the street…
