The road from Antalya to Alanya is absolutely flat. For the first part of it, I pass some cotton fields, but soon starts the never ending alignment on brand new five (Turkish) stars hotels, the famous “all inclusive” hotels.

Around midday, out of nowhere come peasants, mostly woman and sell Gözleme. This traditional Turkish dish is a fresh pastry is commonly filled with cheese and spinach, than it is rolled and cooked over a griddle. It tastes great and costs about 2 Euros.

Finally Alanya breaks the monotony of this day. From far one can see its citadel standing on a roc peninsula. It dates from the 13th century. Most of Alanya’s interesting building are inside it’s walls.
