Generally called "The Boneyard" this largest military aircraft cemetery of the world is the last home of more than 4200 retired aircraft, worth nmore than $ 35 billion.

Located near Tucson, it was set up after WW II. It was chosen because of its arid conditions, meaning that the aircraft can be left outdoors without detoriating too fast.

While some planes are merely stored here, for 80% of them it is a cemetery providing 350.000 different spare parts if needed.
